Mesa Verde National Park

Mesa Verde National Park is a short drive from Mancos, a small town in southwestern Colorado.  The Park is located on a sandstone mesa about 7,000 feet above sea level.  The cliff dwellings have been abandoned for about 700 years, but they are still interesting to visit and photograph.  I decided to take a series of photographs of Spruce House, one of the cliff dwellings areas, last week while passing through the area on my way to Utah and back into central Colorado.  Click here to see more Spruce House prints.
