Cascade near Lauterbrunnen
The stream (featured in the post from last week) appears small and insignificant in the forest. However, the stream seems to gain size and an awesome quality when it flows over the edge of the cliffs into the valley below. Most of the water simply turns into mist before it falls the 200 or 300 meters to the valley floor below. Visitors can see cascades like this one when they hike up the valley outside Lauterbrunnen.
