Gathering Monsoon Clouds

I haven’t had a chance to look at many more of my photos from Wyoming or Switzerland from this summer, but I just stitched together a panorama of some gathering monsoon clouds outside Albuquerque, NM.  I love the summer months in the American West because afternoon buildup produces such amazing skies.  I used a polarizing filter and bracketing for HDR to help the clouds “pop” in front of the dark sky and to capture the texture in the buildup.  I’ll try to post another panorama of a different formation in the coming weeks.
