Bulb exposure of the Seattle skyline shot from the Don Armeni Boat Ramp lanch in West Seattle. I tried getting this shot to be symmetrical, but it was slightly off.

More from the smoky/cloudy day in August along Alki Beach and Joe Block Park. Amazing how the boat in the top image appeared completely stationary to the naked eye, but after a ~30 second exposure, it started to blur in this photograph.

While photographing the Seattle skyline back in August, I walked around to Salty’s along Alki Beach and took a few photos of this pier poking out into the Bay.

I intended to focus my photo shoot on the Sound and the downtown Seattle skyline, but when I arrived at the Jose P Rizal Bridge, an impressive storm cloud was lumbering over the Central District. I shot a few panoramas of the sky as the clouds changed shape, and this is my favorite.

I stuck around after sunset to shoot a few panoramas of the Seattle skyline from the Jose P Rizal Bridge. The exposures that make up the individual frames of the panorama are ~20-30 seconds, so the car lights on the highway turned into lines and the clouds started to slightly blur as they moved over the city.

A friend asked me for a panorama of the Seattle skyline – I don’t usually photograph cityscapes, but I enjoyed shooting landscapes of the city from the Jose P Rizal Bridge during different times of day and weather (sunny, foggy, morning, sunset, etc.).
